Durham provides a magnificent intellectual space for academics and graduate students who wish to spend time in the UK. Not only can the Institute provide links to core academics researching hazard, risk and resilience, as well as relevant research students in the University, our unique projects and programmes of research, seminars, workshops, Risk Masters programmes and our links with other University initiatives like the Institute of Advanced Study, provide a unique opportunity for a period of research leave.
We do not accept all applications to visit the Institute, but if you are interested in spending time in Durham, then you should contact the Institute’s administrator: ihrr.admin@durham.ac.uk.
