Internal Applications
Applications for 2014-15 IAS Fellowship will be accepted from 23 April 2013. The closing date for applications is 09 June 2013
Applications for IAS Fellowships are welcomed and encouraged from academics at Durham University. The application procedure is the same as for those applying externally (see How to Apply) but applications do need to be accompanied by a letter from your Head of Department confirming that you have their permission to apply.
Successful internal applicants are entitled to the same honorarium as other successful applicants but this will be received 'in kind' (e.g. travel for research purposes). Teaching buy-outs (up to £8,000) are also available to departments of successful applicants who will not be on research leave during the period of their Fellowship. Accommodation is not offered to internal applicants as part of the Fellowship.
Any queries regarding internal applications should be directed to Linda Crowe in the first instance.
