Generic Role Profiles
This page lists generic role profiles for teaching only and research only staff.
The profiles have been derived from HERA job evaluation data gathered from Durham University staff and are used formally within the recruitment grading process.
The profiles are not used as the basis for the Grading Review Process as the HERA job evaluation tool operates at a much greater level of technical detail than the profiles in order to evaluate the specific job content of each role.
Individuals may find the profiles useful when preparing applications for Grading Review or as a guide to career development.
