Note - there are changes to the deadline dates for this round of submissions, this is to allow time to request and process references. Submissions may be made at any time before the deadline dates in the table below.

Timetable - 2013

Promotion to Senior Lecturer

Deadline date	Action/Progress
17th December 2012 - note this is a suggested latest date, Departments may set their own date for submission of evidence to meet the date when all papers must be delivered to the HR Director	Members of academic staff provide their Head of Department with evidence for promotion in support of their case.
28th January 2013	Head of Department forwards all papers to the HR Director for circulation to Academic Progression Committee (14 printed copies and an electronic copy which can be forwarded to referees).
1st March 2013	HR will ask referees to submit references by this date.
11th April 2013	Academic Progression Committee (APC) meets to discuss and agree Senior Lecturer promotions.
End April 2013	Members of academic staff will be notified of Senior Lecturer promotions (subject to a decision being made on all applications).

Promotion to Readerships and Professorships

Deadline date	Action/Progress
14th January 2013 - note this is a suggested latest date, Departments may set their own date for submission of evidence to meet the date when all papers must be delivered to the HR Director	Members of academic staff provide their Head of Department with evidence for promotion in support of their case.
11th February 2013	Head of Department forwards all papers to the HR Director for circulation to Academic Progression Committee (14 printed copies and an electronic copy which can be forwarded to referees).
5th April 2013	HR will ask referees to submit references by this date.
16th May 2013	Academic Progression Committee meets to discuss and agree Readership and Professorship promotions.
Mid June 2013	Members of academic staff will be notified of Readership and Professorship promotions.
