Professor Bailey and Oriental Museum beginning major exhibition project

Professor Paul Bailey is participating in a major project organised by Durham University's Oriental Museum.  The Museum is preparing an exhibition commemorating Chinese labourers in France employed by the British and French governments during World War One (a subject on which Professor Bailey is currently completing a book, entitled THE SINO-FRENCH CONNECTION). The exhibition (which will include photographs, documents, artefacts) will be launched in 2014, the centenary year of the start of WW1.
