Arts and Music Facilities

With a seating capacity of 350, this is the only full-sized theatre and fully-equipped cinema in the University. Throughout term the hall is in constant and vibrant use for drama productions, “bops”, Bede Film Society and other assorted student events. The annual Christmas and Summer Balls are held here with the full-size stage being able to accommodate many headline performers.

The Undercroft

This is situated beneath Caedmon Hall and is used for specialised music events as well as being available for bookings by students of the College as a party venue. Part of the space is occupied by a photographic darkroom.

Music Rooms

Two music practice rooms are also situated within the complex for those who wish to perfect their talents before sharing them with others in the hall or Undercroft! These offer 4 pianos, including 2 grand pianos.
