Occupational Health Referral
Referral to the University Occupational Health Adviser can be made as follows:-
<span >Sickness Absence
1) Long Term Sickness - When an employee has been off sick for 4 weeks. An exception to this is when the sickness absence is due to work-related stress, in which case the referral should be made as soon as possible.
2) Frequent or intermittant Absence - When an employee has had three or more absences in a three month period or ten days in a rolling year.
<span >Management Referral
When there is concern that an employees health is impacting upon their work or if work is impacting upon an employee's health.
