Summer Congregation 2013
Congratulations to all Hatfield students congregating in June 2013. We do hope that we will see you at Congregation. Please find below some information on congregation arrangements in College which may be of interest to you.
Accommodation
It may be that you will want to stay overnight in Durham, either on the night before, or the night of your degree ceremony, in which case College would be delighted to offer accommodation to you and your guests. However, as there is limited availability, rooms will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis. Standard single or twin-bedded rooms cost £22.00 per person per night for bed and breakfast or £70.00 per room per night in our 4 star B&B twin/double en-suite rooms. Single en-suite accommodation is not available.
Congregation Lunch
You are invited to a buffet lunch with your guests between 12.30pm and 2.00pm in College on the day of your graduation. Three complimentary lunches are available to you and although you are most welcome to bring along additional guests, there will be a charge of £6.50 for each additional guest. The lunch will provide an opportunity for you to meet College Officers, Mentors and staff.
Graduands' Evensong
Graduands and guests are very welcome to attend a Service of Evensong in the College Chapel at 5.15pm on Tuesday 25 June, Wednesday 26 June and Thursday 27 June. The service is expected to last 45 minutes.
Graduands' Dinner
We are organising a dinner for graduands and guests on the evenings of Tuesday 25 June, Wednesday 26 June and Thursday 27 June, to be held in the College Dining Hall, 6.30 for 7.00pm. The cost will be £24.00 per person including wine and the dress code is lounge suit.
It is advisable to complete the booking form as soon as possible. Please note that we cannot accept bookings over the telephone. An invoice requesting payment will be emailed to you once your booking form has been received and processed.
If you have any queries please contact Katie Petherick, Hatfield Reception (Tel: +44 (0) 191 334 2633).
