Pre-Application Open Days
You can get a taste of what Durham University and Hatfield College has to offer by attending one of the University's Pre-Application Open Days. Dates for Pre-Application Open Days 2013 (Durham City Campus) are:
- Monday, 24 June
- Saturday, 29 June
- Saturday, 21 September
These events will provide an opportunity for those interested in Durham University to gain a real insight into the Durham student experience. Departments, colleges and other student support services and facilities will be available for talks, tours and demonstrations. There will be an opportunity to meet our College staff and to view our facilities. There is also likely to be a limited amount of University-managed accommodation available.
Places will be limited and therefore pre-booking is essential. The on-line booking system will be open approximately six weeks ahead of each Open Day.
If you keen to view the University prior to these dates (or are unable to attend on these dates) we advise booking on a Campus Tour - all dates are now listed and open for booking.
Tours of College
Tours of our buildings take place week days at 11.00am and 2.00pm. If this is of interest to you, please contact our Receptionist who will be able to book a place for you on a tour.
Other Visits
Hatfield College is also happy to welcome visits by individuals or by school groups interested to discover more about Durham University in general and Hatfield College in particular. A college-based programme can be provided for school groups with input from the Senior Tutor about admissions and completing UCAS forms, and College tours and talks by students. Out of University term-time, school groups can stay in College overnight with bed*, breakfast and evening meal being provided at subsizided rates.
