Heads of Department

The process for the appointment of new Heads of Department is overseen by the Governance Support Unit.

The role of the Head of Department is set out in the Standing Orders of Senate and Council. The Head of Department is also the Chair of the Board of Studies, whose responsibilities are also set out in the Standing Orders of Senate and Council.
