A recent creation by Emma and Harry, Epic Day Out is a combination of the old VP's Picnic and Alton Towers trip to make one awesome, fun-packed day outside the Durham Bubble.
This year a coach full of Greylings headed to Cleethorpes. After coach games, including Bus Bingo, the group arrived at Pleasure Island Theme Park where the thrill-seekers dared the frightening 'Hydromax' and the more timid of us preferred the swinging chairs and bumper cars! Whatever their preference, it was clear a good time was had by all.
The afternoon consisted of a scrumptious picnic on the beach and the weather was gorgeous so a couple of hours were spent sunbathing, paddling in the sea or some dabbled at Crazy Golf. The whole day was really fun and is recommended to anyone who fancies a change of scenery and a day at the beach at the end of the year.
