I hope you're all having a good week so far. Here's all the info for the bar this week:
DESIGN A COCKTAIL NIGHT ON FRIDAY
Come and design your own cocktail and poster for it on Friday night in the bar. It's free to enter, and the best entry will be served in the bar the following week!
PUB QUIZ ON SUNDAY
The jackpot is massive, so make sure you head down to the bar early to grab your drinks before the quiz starts!
DRINK OF THE WEEK
Wench - Morgans Spiced, Coke and Blackcurrant!
REMINDER FOR OPENING TIMES
Sunday-Thursday: 7.30-11.00
Friday-Saturday:7.30-12.00

Hey Everyone!
I hope you're all enjoyed the halloween bop, here's what's coming up in the bar this week!
FRIDAY THEME NIGHT
Head down to the bar on Friday for a Games and Giveaway night! There will be games and activities on all the tables for everyone to use and we have loads of free merchandise for you, including t-shirts, shot glasses, harmonicas, drum sticks and more!! Come to the bar to find out more...
OPEN MIC NIGHT
Sunday Night from 8pm, the microphone will be out for all the talented stars of Grey to come down to the bar and provide us with some entertainment. These have been pretty successful before, so come down and get involved, whether it's listening or playing!
THE BAR AFTER FIREWORKS
As you all know, this Saturday sees the biggest firework display of the NorthEast! After you've watched it and given your £4 donation, head straight to the bar with your friends to grab your seats and enjoy some drink specials!!

If you feel you can't decide what to have, why not try a GlitterBomb? Just £1.90!

What more do you want to supplement your cocktails? Free crisps will be provided on each table during the night!!
Please come down and get involved. Most of the cocktails will only be there for 1 night only, you have to opportunity to make your own cocktail and there are free crisps too!!!

I hope you enjoyed the amazing Grey Day this year (thanks Cat & Emma!!). So summer is beginning, and it time to start having some fun and relaxation. How better to do it than in the bar with all the following...
DRINK OF THE WEEK
After the hugely popular 'Exam Slam', we bring you the 'Post-Exam Slam'!! The consists of Relentless, Blackcurrant Sourz and Apple Vodka for just £3.30!

Just as a pre-warning for Monday 13th June....Grey Bar will be having a cocktail evening!
There will be lots of different things, so make sure you come down...

OPENING TIMES EXTENDING
From tomorrow, we will be trialling extended opening times! Please come down and make use of the bar!
The bar will be open from 6.00pm everyday (except wednesday) this week!
PHOENIX BALL
Please remember that the bar will NOT be open at all on the evening of the ball. Apologies for any inconvenience this might cause!!

First and foremost, don't forget to ORDER YOUR CRATES FOR GREY DAY. The DEADLINE is WEDNESDAY 25th at 10PM!
Why should you buy through the bar?
>Saves you going down to tesco and carrying it all the way back (livers out, pick up your crates on the day!)
>There is NO GLASS ALLOWED at Grey Day - all the crates through the bar are PLASTIC or CANS

Theme Night on Friday:
Games, cards and short quizzes will be on the tables in the bar for you to come down and have a break from your revision with!
Sports and other Requests:
The bar section on the website is designed the make the bar what you want it to be! If you want to watch football or something else in the bar and there are enough of you, then request it to be opened (mainly applicable to the weekend) and we should hopefully be able to open it up!
Opening Times:
For the next 2 weeks, the bar will be open at the following times:
*Monday - Saturday: 7.30-11pm
*Sunday: 8-11pm
Final Barfest Stock Reduction:
There are some final bottles of barfest stock left in the bar for a small price. Get down and grab them soon before they run out!!

2 things for a break from revision...
* Pyjama Night in the bar TONIGHT - Come down in your pjs, bring your revision or just come and chill out with a drink and some music.
The EXAM SLAM is just £1 and we also have some heavily reduced barfest stock!!
* The bar will be open tomorrow for the FA Cup Final. It'll be open FROM 2.30 - 5.00 so come down and get your drinks for watching it!!
* EUROVISION will also be on in the bar tomorrow evening! Don't miss out!!!

This week we have new stock, including bottles of carlsberg, 3 flavours of tiser (apple, pear and grape), apple and mango J2Os and 4 Flavours of Koppaberg!

FRIDAY THEME NIGHTS
Every Friday from now on there will be theme nights which will have drinks specials for that night only! Some will include some extra activities, but look out for the theme in the bar and the weekly email!
This week's Friday theme is: Pyjama Night
Come to the bar for a chilled and relaxing drink in your pyjamas on Friday night, in the first build up to the exam period. Enjoy the music, play on the IT box, grab some free peanuts and a soft drink or just chat with you friends!
FREE NIBBLES AT THE BAR
A limited amount of nachos and peanuts will be available for FREE on the bar EVERYDAY of the week! Come down and grab some nibbles with your drink, the earlier you come the more you get!
REVISION DRINKS
The 'EXAM SLAM' is finally here and at an AMAZING PRICE: £1 for a pint!
The combination of relentless, apple juice and blackcurrant tastes yummy and will provide you with that little boost you need to get through revision!
We have more soft drinks than you probably realise as well: 4 fizzy drinks, 3 flavours of j2o, 4 juices, 3 flavours of tiser and relentless!
