Good day, Grey!
I hope all of you who went to the Informal
Ball last night had a cracking time - well done to Charly, Soc Comm, Tech and
everyone else involved!
So there's this little thing coming up in a
week or so...
CHRISTMAS FORMALS!!!!
This is one night of festive joy you do NOT
want to miss! For Freshers or anyone who hasn't been, think carol singing and
crackers, think a three-course Christmas meal, think the Formal that
books out faster than any other!
So, the menu -
Starter - Vegetable
Soup
Main - Traditional Roast
Turkey Dinner (with all the trimmings mmmmmm)
Vegetarian
Option - Mushroom and Blue Cheese Loaf, Traditional Vegetables and a Vegetarian
Gravy
Dessert - Christmas Pudding
and Mince Pies
Not only do you get this incredible meal,
and half a bottle of wine...each table also gets a
bottle of port.
The Charity Reps, Emma and
Jenny, will have a little something going on to keep you entertained throughout
the night.
Santa may also leave a little
something else for those of you who have made the Good List.
It couldn't get much better...
OH BUT IT COULD!!!
All of this, plus the unbelievable
atmosphere, for £5!!!

Booking for both Formals (Monday 12th and
Tuesday 13th) opens on Tuesday 6th December at 7pm - and closes 24 hours later.
Red and White wine or non-alcoholic option as usual, Black Tie Dress-code, both Formals start at 7pm
sharp.
Cheques made payable to Grey College JCR
Fund, with who the cheque pays for and the booking reference (3 digits) on the
back, MUST be in the Exec Pigeon Hole in the Post Room NO LATER than Thursday
8th December. This Formal will sell out so quickly with so many people wanting
to get any spaces going that it will be simple to replace any of those cheques
that are not in on time - no Scroogey feelings meant, but that's how it
is.
