Hey Grey,

Yes, you heard it right, Kacey and I will finally be revealing our secrets to the rest of college next week!

When: Next Tuesday, 1st May
Time: 8pm
Where: JCR
What: Sound systems & power, maybe lighting at a later date if we have enough interest. An opportunity for anyone who wants to to come and have a play with the JCR's equipment and find out exactly what it is we do with that desk with all the funny knobs on...

Absolutely no prior experience required, and don't worry, no requirement to join Tech Comm (although you are very, very welcome if you are interested). Will be very useful for anyone who might be interested in running an event at any point, and for anyone who needs to escape revision for the evening!

There also may be sweets. Depends what I find in Tescos :p

Hi Grey,

As you are no doubt aware, Saturday night is fireworks night - and it will be epic! But at the moment we have a little bit of a problem....

We have a lot of equipment that needs moving to Mary's field from Grey, The Assembly Rooms (opposite Hatfield) and Collingwood and we really need people with cars in Durham to help us out with this.

Equipment needs to be collected and taken to Mary's field Saturday morning (about 9am), taken back up to Grey Saturday evening after the display and returned to The Assembly Rooms and Collingwood Sunday morning.

If anyone does have a car in Durham and is willing to do some driving at any or all of those times, please, please, please get in contact with us. If we have a few people, it really won't take long and we cannot do this without you!
