This is the term when people looking at internships and grad schemes will be dealing with lots of interviews, assessment centres and choice about what to do so please read on for some very recently graduated business angels! They were going through the same things as you not so long ago, so will have great advice.
Pippa Broadway - graduated with a degree in PPE in 2012 - is an associate for the FSA - can give advice about financial services, government and politics and graduate work in the city.
Sarah Carter - graduated with a degree in history in 2012 - is a trainee solicitor at Burges Salmon LLP - great for experience of interviews at large law firms and the importance of vacation schemes.
Jacob Hicks - graduated with a degree in physics in 2012 - currently a software consultant at Credativ - happy to talk about the application process for small companies, working in the software industry and the importance of getting involved in societies.
If you have any career related queries then you can go to the careers service at any time or contact me and I will try and put you in touch with someone that can help. Fingers crossed there will be another careers event this term to help you out as well.
Good luck with careers and remember that there is no need to rush into a job, take your time and find something fulfilling that you will enjoy. If you start you career at 21 you could be doing it for another forty years so take your time and relax.
Best of luck,
Maddie
