Hi Grey,
It is coming to the end of term and the summer is a great time to think about careers! Many internships open their application processes October, so get thinking about what you want to do when you graduate over the summer and keep checking out the CAS emails for opportunities.
Here are some Business Angels to give you some inspiration:
David Baines – graduated with a degree in zoology in 1968 and is now Vice President of Global Marketing and Sales for Embrex (a Pfizer company), has great advice on CVs.
Koen de Bisschop – graduated with a degree in law in 2000 and is now an Attorney for Freshfields. Has also worked for Linklaters and can offer advice on working as a solicitor in London.
Tomas Stanton – graduated with a degree in physics in 2006 and now works for the Home Office in explosives and weapon detections. Has some great advice for students who are still unsure of which career path to follow.

FAO Finalists
Once you graduate you should sign up for Business Angels. It is an online database of Grey alumni that lists their employment, experience and advice for Grey students on careers. If you become a Business Angel then you can help students by being available to be emailed and by passing on tips about the working world. Grey is one of the only colleges to offer this brilliant scheme and the more people that join, the better.
To join, all you have to do is fill in an online form. It doesn’t take long and means you can be part of the careers community that can help Grey students for years to come. It is a great way to give back to college!
If this hasn’t already persuaded you to sign up then hopefully the prize draw will. There is a bottle of champagne some gift vouchers up for grabs to some lucky Grey finalists who sign up for Business Angels before 1st August.
