ARMY BOP - your first taste of a college event! You are the new recruits of the Grey Army, and so must dress as so. It is time that you learnt the true nature of 'college spirit' by being introduced to the 2nd and 3rd years. Full of surprise entertainment, cocktails and dancing based in college, it is great fun to get to know the rest of Grey.
FIREWORKS - officially the best fireworks display in the North East of England, Grey College hosts an amazing evening. All in the college grounds, the Cathedral acts as a spectacular backdrop.
INFORMAL BALL - this is the biggest and best social event of the term, held at the beginning of December. You can start the evening off with a three course meal, or dive straight in afterwards with a massive array of entertainment and fantastic decorations. The dress code is always elaborate and extraordinary - past themes include 'Heroes & Villains,' 'Time Machine' and 'Escape from Reality' and 'Cirque du Soleil'.
