Grey TV room

TV Room

In our JCR room we have the largest TV in the entire University! In addition, the bar has a projection screen and widescreen TV.

All the displays are connected to digital, Sky and have DVD/VHS and AV equipment. The bar also has an X Box with a good selection of games.

Our air-conditioned bar is a hub for social activity, featuring a variety of seating, an IT-Box and an online Juke Box. The projection screen and TV in the bar can be used separately and are often used to show major sports events.

We pride ourselves on our selection of beverages, including a popular selection of real ales. Non-alcoholic drinks are always available and the College encourages its members of all backgrounds to use the Bar as a place for meeting, socialising and relaxing.  In term time the bar is run by the full time Bar Steward with the assistance of the JCR's Bar Manager, Bar Vice-Managers and Bar Committee.

Games

We have a pool table in our JCR space at only 30p per game, available to all students. We also have a full-size snooker table in the Oswald building. This snooker table is an important item in College history, having been donated by the first Master, Dr Holgate.

The JCR space also features an online karaoke system - very popular after formals!
