Example Grey PG bedroom

There are four residential blocks at Grey: Hollingside, Elvet, Holgate and Oswald. Postgraduate accommodation is on separate corridors (separate from our UG students) in our Elvet North building.

All of the blocks have token-operated laundry facilities, kitchen and bathroom facilities. All college bedrooms have high-speed connections to the University network, so you can access the web, email and all applications 24/7.

Our residential blocks:

Hollingside

The main building in College. Hollingside houses the bar, dining hall, administrative offices, JCR and SCR.

There are shower and toilet facilities on each floor.

Elvet

Elvet is renowned for its lively atmosphere. There are four wings – North, East, West and South – each with its own layout. Each wing has two pantries on each floor. This block includes shower and toilet facilities and was recently refurbished.

Holgate House

Holgate is the newest block in college and all the rooms are en-suite (toilet, sink and shower). It is also home to the Victor Watts College Library, a computer/study area and a Conference Suite. There are two wings, each with their own pantry facilities on each floor.

Oswald

This is the largest accommodation block in College and the majority of occupants are freshers. Oswald recently had a multi-million pound overhaul and now boasts 4’ wide beds with large under-bed storage facilities. Oswald has a very friendly 'open door' atmosphere. There are bathroom and pantry facilities on each floor as well as a laundry. Additional facilities include the College gym.
