The University’s Procurement department wins a ‘Green Gown’ Award

The Procurement Department has won a prestigious Green Gown Award in the 'Sustainable Development' category at the 2010 Green Gown Awards.

This is an excellent achievement and is a demonstration of the work our Procurement department are doing to make our purchasing more sustainable. This is the sixth year of the Green Gown awards, which are run by the Environmental Association for Universities and Colleges and this is our second Green Gown; two years ago we won an award for our student-led Sustainable Living Action Group.
