From the fabulous Spring display of bluebells and wood anemones in Great and Little High woods to the rich variety of flowers to be found in the meadows and around the ponds, anyone interested in wildflowers need never be bored walking anywhere around the University's grounds.

Dr Phil Gates, a botanist in the School of Biological and Biomedical Sciences and a member of the Biodiversity Working Group, has produced a beginner's guide to wildflower identification and you can download this from the link below.

He has also produced a short guide to common arable 'weeds'.
