PGT Marks Entry
The Student Planning and Assessment Office (SPA) is responsible for overseeing the marks entry process at postgraduate level.
The aim of postgraduate marks entry is to ensure there is a centralised record of student marks and outcomes, which will enable the University to produce automatic transcripts for students (for those commencing study from the 2005/06 academic year onwards). As such, all marks for taught modules taken by postgraduate students must be entered in to the Banner student record system.
For staff who are unfamiliar with postgraduate marks entry processes, there are training sessions run by Unisys which will provide a good introduction to and overview of the process. A Powerpoint presentation of the postgraduate marks entry process from a departmental point of view is also available.
Please note that as marks entry processes are continually under review, the online training may not cover all new developments.
Any specific queries should be directed to SPA in the first instance.
