Programme
The programme will consist of 8 workshops which will be held in the Ustinov Room, Van Mildert College. Depending on numbers, each workshop will be run once or twice.

Developing your portfolio
|
Participants will be supported by mentors, by each other through facilitated professional groups, by the course team and through the online learning environment. The latter will be used to help facilitate learning, and participants will have the opportunity to explore the role of the Internet in education. Participants will be enabled to build on their understanding of a variety of tools (learning environments, wikis, blogs, classroom tools and social networks) through workshop discussions, online activities and reflection on their own practice for the final assessment.
Assessment will be via a portfolio normally submitted within 6 months of the start of the programme.
Eligibility
Applications are now invited from early career researchers (postgraduates and postdocs.) and part-time teaching staff who have undertaken at least 30 hours of teaching and/or supporting learning over a minimum of two terms (not necessarily in the same academic year) at Durham University. Those who do not meet this criterion should contact the course team which may be able to grant a concession.
