Concessions

A concession is a request to do something not normally permitted under University regulations - to take a module not ordinarily available on your programme, to suspend your studies or to extend the deadline for a dissertation or thesis. If you think you need a concession, you should speak with your department in the first instance - usually your supervisor or programme director.
