• The British Go Association is the main body representing Go in the UK. Their website provides lots of information and links to much more.

Where can I learn Go?

• The Interactive Way To Go provides an excellent starting point - it'll guide you through the rules with many interactive examples
• Jenny Radcliffe wrote an overview of how to play
• If you want to try out some problems, GoProblems.com has an enormous range at all levels and of many types
• The KGS Teaching Ladder is a good place to go for reviews and teaching games
• The Go Teaching Ladder provides a reviewing service, so that you can get your games reviewed by stronger players
• Wikibooks Go explains how to play, although it's unfinished
• Or, possibly best of all, visit a club! See below for more - Durham is always welcoming to new players, and happy to teach beginners

Where can I play Go?

• Go can be played online using various servers, and you'll often find some Durham players and graduates on KGS (in particular in the British Room)
• Another similar option is Pandanet IGS
• DGS (Dragon Go Server) is slightly different, in that it offers turn based games (think correspondance chess)
• Alternatively, you can play in person - if you're in Durham, why not come along to a club meeting?
• If you're not in Durham, the British Go Association maintains a list of clubs around the UK
