Monitoring Programme for the Whitby TV mast site
A research project of the Department of Geography.
Background
The project uses a combination of ground instrumentation and innovative 3D terrestrial laser scanning for monitoring the rates and processes of rock cliff erosion. The methodology developed in this project has been published in the Quarterly Journal of Engineering Geology and Hydrogeology (Vol 38, Number 4).
