Biography

2007: BSc Physical Geography (University of Reading).
2008: MSc Quaternary Science (Royal Holloway and UCL, University of London).

Research Interests

My Ph.D. research utilises remote sensing and GIS techniques to analyse the large-scale geomorphology of eskers, aiming to develop our understanding of subglacial meltwater drainage at the ice-sheet scale, as well as the processes which control the location and formation of eskers. Eskers have not previously been mapped at high resolution for an entire ice sheet bed and my work provides the first such study, drawing on mapping of the eskers of the former Laurentide Ice Sheet, as well as a contemporary analogue at Breiðamerkurjőkull, SE Iceland.
