Durham cartographers win award for Best Map of 2009

The map was prepared by Durham geographer David Evans in collaboration with David Twigg and Brice Rea, while the design and cartography was undertaken by the Design & Imaging Unit in the Department of Geography at Durham. The judging panel was impressed with the “cartography, inter-disciplinary / data integration and academic content”.
