Postdoctoral Research Associate - Ref: 2637

The Department of Geography at Durham is seeking to appoint a Research Associate who holds a PhD in either physics or geophysics, or with demonstrable quantitative modelling expertise. The RA will work on a NERC-funded project that is incorporating reprocessed GPS data and new ice sheet reconstructions into an existing model of Antarctic glacial-isostatic adjustment. The post is full time for two years and will commence on 1st October 2008 or as soon as practicably possible thereafter. Salary: From £22,332 per annum Closing Date: 18th August 2008
