British Academy Joint Projects

The British Academy invites applications for its special joint project programmes with central and eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. Projects may include attendance at joint seminars, conferences or workshops as well as visits to undertake research in the humanities and social sciences. The British Academy provides up to £2,500 per year to cover travel and maintenance expenses for up to three years. There are agreements with: the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Sofia; the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Zagreb; the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, Prague; the Estonian Academy of Sciences, Tallinn; the Georgian Academy of Sciences, Tbilisi; the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Budapest; the Latvian Academy of Sciences, Riga; the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences, Vilnius; the Polish Academy of Sciences, Warsaw; the Romanian Academy, Bucharest; the Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow; the Slovak Academy of Sciences, Bratislava; and the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Ljubljana.
