Grant Ingram's University Website.

I am currently lecturer in Thermodynamics and Fluid Mechanics in the School of Engineering and Computing Sciences at Durham University. I am also on twitter and have a personal blog.

I have recently published an electronic book about turbomachinery which you can download at no cost from bookboon.com.

I was also delighted to win the PE Publishing Prize for the best paper published in the Journal of Power and Energy in 2008 along with my co-authors. The papers were published in issue A1 of Volume 222, pages 93-102 and 103-110, and are available free online. Paper 1 and Paper 2.

I have two primary research interests:

I am always keen to hear from potential PhD students, example projects in the School can be found on the School project list.

If you are doing one of my courses and you wish to see me about it, you need to sign up for tutorial (or office) hours. Regretably the only way to sign up for these is to use the old fashioned bit of paper on my door!

This site contains information that is (hopefully) of wider interest than just to students doing my courses. If you are doing one of my courses you should be able to find the material on the Durham University Online site, otherwise know as duo.

The material of more lasting value (well in my opinion) can be found in the download section.
