Event Durham is able to provide wedding packages to suit a wide range of styles and budgets. We work very closely with you during the planning stages to ensure we find the perfect wedding venue for your special day.
A range of fully-equipped venues
We have a huge choice of settings, all unique in design and set in their own grounds close to the city centre. All our venues offer attractive function rooms, ideal for either a formal wedding breakfast or a buffet reception. Additional rooms give you the flexibility to arrange bar facilities for your drinks reception and evening disco. All venues offer bedrooms to accommodate guests overnight and all offer free parking.
We can cater for both day and evening receptions. Some venues may be able to offer reception facilities for small weddings during term-time but the majority are only available during University vacations.
Expertise you can trust
Our friendly and knowledgable staff will be happy to offer you advice on menus and drinks selection, on selecting the best layout for the room, and on working through the timings for the day. We can also arrange flowers, cars, bands and entertainment at your request. We can make additional rooms available on your special day to display your wedding gifts.
