Group Accommodation
During the University summer vacation the College of St Hild & St Bede's accommodation, a short walk from the heart of the city, provides the perfect base from which to explore historic Durham City and the wider region.
The College has 353 standard bedrooms with shared bathrooms and 5 en suite rooms, which are available during Easter & Summer vacations. These rooms are split between 4 different accommodation blocks, making it ideal to house groups of school age children.
Group bookings are welcome and catering can be arranged within the College's dining hall or private dinners for up to 80 in the Joachim Room or 14 in the Whittaker Room. The College also has a fully stocked bar.
Social Space can be offered in the Junior Common Room.
Groups requiring teaching or seminar rooms can use the College's meeting rooms or the nearby central teaching rooms, only a short walk away.
