During University vacations Grey College's accommodation, a short walk from the heart of the city, provides the perfect base from which to explore historic Durham City and the wider region.
Holgate House
The 97 en suite bedrooms (including 4 twins) in Holgate House are available during Christmas, Easter & Summer vacations.
Oswald Block
Oswald is the largest accommodation block within the College. It has 111 standard bedrooms (with bathrooms shared between 4 to 6 room, and includes 13 twin rooms) which are available in Easter & Summer vacations. The rooms are segregated into separate areas, making it perfect to house groups of school age children.
Elvet & Hollingside Blocks
Elvet & Hollingside blocks have 214 standard bedrooms (with bathrooms shared between 4 to 6 rooms, including 5 twins) and are available in Summer vacations.
Group bookings are welcome and catering can be arranged within the College's dining hall or private dinners for up to 35 in the Pennigton Room. The College also has a fully stocked bar.
Social Space can be offered in either the Junior Common Room or Fountains Hall.
Groups requiring teaching or seminar rooms can use the College's meeting rooms or the nearby central teaching rooms, only a short 5 minute walk away.
