With purpose-built conference centres and a range of bedrooms in a variety of modern and historic locations, Event Durham is ideally suited to cater for conferences of all sizes.

Our colleges each have a combination of conference rooms and bedrooms to suit a variety of needs.  For our larger events we offer the option of combining services at a number of venues, situated just a few minutes' walk apart. We can provide state of the art lecture theatres which seat up to 400 delegates, as well as well-equipped seminar and break-out rooms.  To make your event truely memorable we can even offer a gala dinner at Durham Castle.

Most of our bedrooms are only available during University vacations, however in term time we can still offer conference facilities for up to 190 delegates, with accommodation sourced from other local providers or our year-round accommodation.

Event Durham also offers an event management service to offer you essential administrative support for your residential conference, allowing you to concentrate on the programme.
