Business School MA Students

MA Programme applicants in (e.g.) Management and Marketing on Pre-Sessional programmes at Durham are well prepared for study at Durham.

All students prepare a 3000 word academic essay over the summer on a theme that has been agreed with the Durham Business School. We work closely with the Business School to recommend appropriate reading for this type of writing task, in order to ensure a Pre-Sessional preparation that includes tailored reading most relevant to your study after the summer.

You will also work with case reports and empirical research reports. These are two core academic text types that you will need to be familiar with from October.
