The School of Education has a thriving postgraduate community, with over 700 taught and research postgraduate students.  It is an exciting centre of professional development and research for teachers and others involved in education from early years to higher education.  We also have a significant minority of students who have backgrounds in informal education and training.  We hope the following pages will help to give you a sense of who we are, what is happening here and what you can expect should you decide to undertake postgraduate study with us, as well as to answer some of the more practical queries you may have about applying and studying for a postgraduate degree in Education.
