International Students
The Durham University School of Education has a diverse community of taught and research postgraduate students, many of whom are international students from a variety of countries.
In addition to the traditional full or part-time study routes available for each of our postgraduate programmes and popular with home and overseas students alike, a number of our postgraduate programmes are available through our part-time International Summer Postgraduate Institute (ISPI). ISPI is based on the innovative concept of 'blended learning', where students both attend summer school teaching and study at home. These programmes are designed to suit overseas students who are looking for an alternative to full-time study in the UK and, as the teaching on ISPI is delivered intensively at four-week summer schools, students are often able to retain their existing teaching positions or other employment.
