Preparing for your studies
Preparation for our taught degrees
If possible we recommend that you do some general background reading before beginning your studies, to better prepare you for the programme. The best preparation is to read recent articles in educational journals - start with topics that interest you. You should also familiarise yourself with approaches to educational research by looking at text books which explore and explain educational research methodology; reading these texts alongside current empirical research will help you to begin to understand research approaches.
