International undergraduate students

Welcome to the School of Engineering and Computing Sciences at Durham University. We hope that you will find the information in these webpages useful and we would be delighted if you were to consider joining the community of international students studying here.
Our School offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate taught and postgraduate research degrees that produce world-class engineers and computer scientists who are in high demand. Durham is the third eldest university in England. It has a collegiate structure, which means that you become a member of a ‘College family’ throughout and beyond your studies. This offers you an excellent opportunity to meet both UK and international students, and fully experience what it is to be a student in England. We invite you to take a look at our video which provides a sample of what life is like as an international student in the School of Engineering and Computing Sciences. Do also look at our answers to some of the frequently asked questions which we receive.
Should you not find all of the information that you are looking for, then our International Coordinator Dr Chris Groves (chris.groves@durham.ac.uk) will be able to help you.
