Innovative computing
The Innovative computing research group is one of five research and teaching groups within ECS. Research in the group is concerned with methods for representing, processing, communicating and reasoning about information, and the role of the human, in both natural and engineered computing systems. It encompasses academic research across computer science and software engineering and the ways in which this interacts with and influences developments in society. Our research is characterised by the rigorous application of analysis, empirical experimentation and design and provides a context for a wide range of interdisciplinary studies and commercial collaborations. More details can be found in the research activities section.
If you want to discuss a research topic or idea, please use the staff details or simply contact the head of the group, Dr Nick Holliman.
