European nation state governments signed up to prescriptive 20% challenges for energy reduction, CO2 reduction and renewable energy contributions by 2020. Artificial electric lighting in Europe accounts for as much CO2 generation as the global contribution from all motor vehicles. This seminar will explore the opportunities and challenges faced by the lit environment.
