Craig Cochran: Craig was awarded by the BoE for the IET Student prize for showing distinction on a course leading to an IET accredited degree. For this he received two years IET membership.
Craig also won 2nd prize in IET student project presentation competition. |
Andrew Evans: Andrew received his award for writing the best Geology essay in the academic year 2009-2010 | Aidan Chalk: Aidan received the award given by the school to the student with the best final year project in Computing Science. |

Christopher Jones: Christopher was nominated by the BoE for the IMechE Frederick Barns Waldron Award For achieving the highest distinction in an IMechE accredited degree. Christopher also won the IMechE best project certificate for completing an outstanding project in mechanical engineering |
Ashley Tompson: Ashley was awarded the Russell Hoyle prize which is given each year to the student in engineering graduating with highest honers. Ashley is also the winner of the Institution of Structural Engineers, Northern Counties Branch Design Prize for achieving the highest marks in the final year structural design examination.
