Welcome to the 1st Department of Earth Sciences conference!

'Celebrating excellence in our research'

The 2013 Department of Earth Sciences conference at Durham University will be held on Monday 3rd June in TR1-4, Level 2 of the Arthur Holmes Building. We encourage all members of the Department and the Science Faculty to attend and take part. The oral presentations are to be given by the Level 4 students (summative presentation of research projects), but you can submit an abstract for a poster presentation on any aspect of your research, whether it be an undergraduate assignment/dissertation or a presentation given at an academic conference. If you don't have a poster already, why not make one? Great experience for your CV!

To attend the day, you must register but conference attendance is free!
