Durham postgrads win AAPG awards

Alan Rooney was awarded the Gustavus E. Archie Memorial International Grant from the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, for "Application of the Rhenium-Osmium system to evaluate Proterozoic petroleum systems and Re-Os complexation in source rocks." Jen Martin and Jon Long have also recieved AAPG Grants-in-Aid Awards from the AAPG Foundation towards their PhD research. Jen received the Duncan A. McNaughton Memorial Grant, Jon received the Horst & Jessie von Bandat Memorial Grant.
