The Guardian features Durham research on carbon storage in peatlands

The Guardian, Thursday 31st January, featured an article on the extensive restoration of Peak District peatlands by the National Trust and Moors for the Future. The sites featured in the article are part of ongoing research by James Rowson and Fred Worrall into carbon sequestration benefits within upland peat soils, research that is being sponsored by Natural England and Moors for the Future.
