Durham ranked 4th Earth Science Department in UK

The Complete University Guide evaluates UK university departments on Student Satisfaction, Entry Standards, Research Assessment and Graduate Prospects. In the 2013 Table, Earth Sciences at Durham is ranked 4th in our subject area. This marks the latest stage of a continuous rise up this table from 15th place a mere 5 years ago. The ranking reflects the achievements of our students and staff in all areas of the Department’s activity. Such achievements would not have been possible without the hard work and endeavour of all our academic, administrative, research and technical staff, assisted by the research efforts and teaching support offered by the postgraduate students.
