College Senior Tutor

The role of College Senior Tutor

Essentially, the role of College Senior Tutor is to provide advice and guidance on issues related to academic progress and personal well-being. For students with disabilities this can involve:

  • ensuring provision of appropriate accommodation
  • addressing college access needs (including parking)
  • giving advice and guidance during periods of illness and/or injury
  • assisting in completion of mitigating circumstances forms
  • arranging college visits
  • assisting disabled students in completing applications to the Access to Learning Fund (ALF) 
  • administering the college hardship fund
  • dealing with emergencies as appropriate
