Chris Brooking, MEng

Chris has been involved in the project since September 2005; working on the electrical and electronic engineering of the car.

In 2006-2007, he was in charge of the Electricals and Electronics. Whilst he had an overview of all the areas under this heading, his main area of interest was with the electronic drive control system. Under his purview came the implementation of the drive control software, the in-car telemetry system (including wireless connectivity), the solar-cell array and power electronics drive hardware.

In 2007-2008, Chris moved on to the role of Treasurer, keeping track of the accounts and spending.

Chris graduated in 2008 as a Master of Engineering in Communications Engineering degree course at Durham, with 1st Class Honours.
