What we do

We are one of several Improvised Comedy Societies at Universities in the UK and the only dedicated comedy society in Durham.

Our performance group Shellshock! regularly perform around the university, in both college and independant events. Performing with Shellshock is open to all who want to, although we do ask that you come to a few workshops, preferably including one or two Tuesday ones (see our events page for details), before you put yourself forward.

There is a workshop every Saturday afternoon 3-5pm in ER145, open to all members, usually followed by a visit to Kingsgate bar. The aim of these sessions are to provide a laid back, fun environment in which to learn improvisation skills and build confidence.
